National Center for Technology Innovation (NCTI)

The National Center for Technology Innovation (NCTI) advances learning opportunities for all students, with a special focus on individuals with disabilities. NCTI works to facilitate growth and sustainability of assistive and learning tools to improve the quality of technology tools to make a true difference in the lives of students with special needs. NCTI has developed and implemented a national collaborative network of researchers, developers, vendors, and technology educators to support the implementation of accessible and assistive technology innovation. NCTI tracks trends and promotes technology‐related products, particularly those with positive implications for student achievement. Seeking to connect the technology‐developer and educator communities under the unified banner of inventive life improvements for disabled and able‐bodied individuals, NCTI hosts a variety of technical assistance and training activities for stakeholders on topics related to technology innovation.
